The River Lodge is a unique conference venue and wedding venue located midway between Rotorua and Lake Taupo in the scenic heart of New Zealand. Set in beautiful park like surroundings our venue is also ideal for private or corporate functions, birthday parties, christmas parties, mid winter functions, incentives and special events.
Set on the banks of the Waikato River in the beautiful Bay of Plenty you will feel a million miles from anywhere yet you are just 30 minutes drive from both Rotorua and Taupo Airports.

The River Lodge specialises in conferences for small groups (10-40). With excellent, spacious accommodation, activities and team building plus full catering it provides a memorable New Zealand conference venue for business/corporate or private groups. Ask our conference and event manager to tailor a unique special event for your group.
Spacious Accommodation
We have 19 comfortable and spacious rooms available for single, double or twin occupancy. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms and open to either poolside or garden settings. We can accommodate up to 40 delegates for conferences and 60 guests for weddings (with couples sharing double rooms).
