Team building and incentive activities are a River Lodge specialty.
We work closely with some of the regions most experienced innovative facilitators to provide unique programmes that are ideal for the wonderful natural environment of The River Lodge.

Team Building Activities Include...

Raft Building and Racing

Teams build, launch and paddle rafts along the banks of the Waikato River back to the River Lodge. With points to be gained along the way, the first raft home is not necessarily the winner!

The Amazon Challenge

A two or three hour event and utilising the whole property, this is team development at it's best. Teams are briefed on a serious scenario and must communicate effectively to complete several exciting tasks and complete the challenge.

Confidence Course

Challenge your team's strength, agility and teamwork through our 20-obstacle confidence course

Hole in One Golf

Just pitch the golf balls across our water feature. Teams gain points for closest to the hole.

Top Town

Based on the great 80's classic TV show, mini events can be tailored to suit your group. Teams race head to head for an exciting finish.

Giant Rubik Cube

Teams race against the clock to reassemble our giant rubik cube!

River Lodge Sports Tournament

Enjoy our spacious outdoor setting with a fun and competitive round robin sports tournament of softball, volleyball, cricket, basketball, tennis or golf chipping.
